James Island Woodworks is based in Charleston, SC. Owned and operated by Greg Weiss, a local James Island resident and avid woodworker. I specialize in Marine Teak Restoration and Refinishing. In addition to Reclaiming and restoring old species of wood (heart of pine, sinker cypress, cedar, cherry, walnut, Mahagony, teak and more) and turning into quality wood products I believe that one of the best ways to live sustainably is to own very few, very high-quality things that bring happiness every time you use them.
